The base rate is not the price

Sector 150 quotes look tight until you open the cost sheet. Between IFMS, club charges, PLC and parking, the gap between the advertised rate and the number on your registry runs 9 to 14 per cent.

Where the difference sits

  • Preferential location charges on park-facing and corner units
  • Club membership, usually one-time and non-negotiable
  • IFMS, refundable on paper, rarely refunded in practice
